FLAVOR PROFILE

The vibrant, complex aroma and flavor of freshly chopped basil leaves — unequivocal, and bright against a delicate oil that lets it lead.

PAIRINGS

Pour it over sliced tomatoes and torn mozzarella and stop there. Also excellent stirred into white beans, brushed on grilled bread, or finished over minestrone. Pair with Traditional 18-Year Style for the simplest, best salad you will make this year.

HOW IT DIFFERS FROM OUR PRESSATO

We make basil oil two ways. This one is infused — the basil goes onto the oil, and it stays bright, clean, and unmistakably itself. Our Verde Luxe Pressato is milled with the olives, so the basil goes into the oil: deeper, more savory, less of a top note. Both are good. They are not the same.

The pressato is a pop-up exclusive. It does not ship — find it at our table.

Every bottle is filled by hand and carries its own lot code and best-by date.

Olive oil is perishable. Keep it away from heat and light — not next to the stove, however convenient that is. Use it within about a year of opening, and sooner if you can. It does not spoil dangerously; it just quietly gets duller.

Vinegar is far more forgiving. Cupboard, cool, done.
