Sharp blue cheese against the vinegar-and-cayenne bite of a buffalo sauce, with the olive holding it all together. Bold, and not remotely subtle — which is the point.
The martini olive with an argument. Also excellent on a board with cured meats, alongside celery and a cold beer, or straight from the jar over the sink.

Olive oil is perishable. Keep it away from heat and light — not next to the stove, however convenient that is. Use it within about a year of opening, and sooner if you can. It does not spoil dangerously; it just quietly gets duller.
Vinegar is far more forgiving. Cupboard, cool, done.
