ORIGIN

A crème vinegar — thicker, softer, and rounder than a standard vinegar, carrying black cherry and almond.

FLAVOR PROFILE

Dessert in a bottle, but with acidity. Dark cherry sweetness, marzipan warmth, and a velvety body that coats the spoon.

PAIRINGS

Over vanilla ice cream, panna cotta, or fresh cherries. Also remarkable with duck, pork, or a strong blue cheese.

Olive oil is perishable. Keep it away from heat and light — not next to the stove, however convenient that is. Use it within about a year of opening, and sooner if you can. It does not spoil dangerously; it just quietly gets duller.

Vinegar is far more forgiving. Cupboard, cool, done.
